- Day 1
Shimla to Sangla
Via the Indo-Tibet Highway through Kufri, Narkanda and the Sutlej valley.
- Day 2
Sangla to Kalpa
Via Chitkul; Mata Mandir and views of the Kinner Kailash range.
- Day 3
Kalpa to Tabo
Via Nako; the Spiti-Sutlej confluence and 1,020-year-old Chos Khor Gompa.
- Day 4
Tabo to Lhalung
800-year-old Dhankar monastery, Dhankar lake trek and Serkhong Gompa.
- Day 5
Lhalung to Kaza
Via Mudh and Pin Valley; lunch at a local village and market exploration.
- Day 6
Kaza to Langza
Komic (highest motorable village, 4,580m), Hikkim (highest post office, 4,440m), Langza.
- Day 7
Langza to Chandratal
Via Kee Gompa and the Kibber–Chicham bridge; 4km circumambulation of Moon Lake.
- Day 8
Chandratal to Manali
Via the Batal–Gramphu road and Manali–Leh Highway.
